Cousins Center receives plaudits from design community

While classes and labs were already in session at the I.W. “Ike” Cousins Center for Science and Innovation during the spring 2019 semester, the building is now fully open, furnished, and full of activity. The project, which broke ground the day after spring 2018 commencement, was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.

In addition to housing biology, chemistry, physics and ecology facilities, the Cousins Center includes learning spaces for the new Hammack School of Business, in collaboration with Porsche Cars, N.A. and Global Payments.

The Cousins Center’s eye-catching design and focus on sustainability by building architects Cooper Carry has been highlighted by several national and local publications including Architectural Digest.
