Cousins Center for Science and Innovation Wins American Institute of Architects Design Award

The American Institute of Architects (Georgia) presented Oglethorpe University’s Cousins Center for Science and Innovation with an Honor Award for Design in the category of Renovation/Restoration, during a virtual presentation on Friday, Dec. 4. Finalists were evaluated by leading expert judges from across the country.

Designed by Atlanta architecture firm Cooper Carry, Inc., the structure is composed of a new light-filled 25,000-square-foot addition that encompasses the original 20,000-square-foot renovated Goslin Hall, creating a completely reimagined 45,000-square-foot facility.
